Roving plank experiment

5RNFT
5 x 80kg Deadlift
Sideways roving plank, about 8m and back.

Could have gone 8 or 10 reps on the deadlift, the roving planks took the time. Out was unbroken except in the last round, back was usually serious broken.

Fun.

I don't know what that was about

Call it an experiment in posture
AMRAP whatever
5 x 20kg hang muscle snatch
5 x 20kg 20" box squats <- This is what I was really wanting to try
10 x 20kg good mornings

When I get my spine lined up, lose the excessive lordotic curve, stretch my back up and long (it's my imagery, butt out) my shoulders roll back into beautiful external rotation and I can squat to a 20" box that way. Perfectly, or at least as far as my shoulders go.
I guess I'll try to go lower one day, but if I could add weight, get up to using 40kg to a 20" box and have my shoulders feel like that I'm not sure I'll ever care about full depth OHS.
That was sooo much better than my shoulders normally feel with the bar overhead.

Well that took a while

5RNFT
10 x 20kg press
20 x med ball goblet squats

Squats took forever.
Presses were light, but got sloppy as I tired, which is what I expected.

Time to try push-ups

AMRAP12
12 x 20kg Russian T-Handle swings
12 x push-ups on a plank between 2 x 20" boxes

Baby steps

5RNFT
10 x 60kg Deadlifts
10 x 22.5kg bandbell benches

That was about where I wanted it to be for a first workout back.

I would like today to never have happened.

No breakfast, no lunch. Got to work and found one of my team still there from work he started the previous evening and he didn't get away until the early afternoon. Poor Stan.
Got some good news about the progress of my teeth and then back to work to fault after server failure after bigger server failure, partway through which I got tired enough and stressed enough that the troublesome socket burst again and I was fighting down mouthfuls of blood. Barely able to think.
Off to an emergency dentists and all stitches removed, the clot scraped out, LOTS more stitches until the bleeding stopped and then the too long journey home from Glenfield.
If it weren't for Dan communicating updates to people I don't know how I would have got through the afternoon.
At least I have some antibiotics to treat the other socket that's infected and which has probably been the cause of my feverishness and feeling ill.
I know many people in the world are going through much worse right now and I've no idea how they cope.
This is about all I can handle.

Thank God for Lynette to get me from place to place and give me a reason not to give up.
